BHGF 2nd Advanced Training Program for Medical Specialists to France Successfully Held

Organized by Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation(BHGF), the pre-trip meeting of the 2nd Advanced Training Program for Medical Specialists to France was successfully held in Beijing on April 25th, 2019. 15 elite doctors from different parts of China were going to Public hospital of Lyon, France for a 3-month overseas training.

 At the pre-meeting, Ms. Chen Ran, Chairman of Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF) extended her sincerest welcome to doctors, and elaborated the dos and don'ts for them when they are in France. She hoped that all the trainees could cherish this hard-won opportunity of studying abroad and communicate more with foreign colleagues. She reminded the trainees could keep clear their learning goals and objectives in mind, learn from each other's strength and develop their concepts, improve their study ability as much as possible, and make contributions to the future discipline construction and team development for the hospital. She also hoped that the trainees could not only stick together and help each other, observe local laws and regulations, pay attention to personal safety and accomplish the training task successfully, but also hand in high quality learning reports after they come back to China，and spreading the love and philosophy of the foundation, promoting the growth of more medical staff and teams, and escorting the people's health.

 Mr. Yue Kuitao from Affiliated hospital of Weifang Medical college Radiology department served as the political commissar and Mr. Qin Bo from Deyang People’s hospital Rehabilitation department served as the group leader .The two leaders expressed their thanks to the elaborate preparation made by BHGF and thought this opportunity to study in France was very valuable and they would lead the group to make full use of this valuable clinical practice. The group members were also expected to show the elegant demeanours of the Chinese doctors and the development of Chinese medical level to France collegues while learning advanced concept and technology abroad. They will lead group study hard and contribute to the hospital and the discipline after coming back.

BHGF French project officer Dai Wei from medical and nursing department introduced the general background of BHGF and the ongoing international cooperation programs carried out by BHGF. He proposed some specific requirements for the doctors and nurses about studying aboard. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend multi - disicipline team(MDT), case analysis seminars, and take part in different forms of clinical observation activities. They also have the chance to learn about France most advanced health care systems, diagnostic techniques and management practices.

BHGF is committed to building a platform and giving fully play to resource advantages and public platform support. Through the two-way communication of "sending out and inviting in", it provides assistance on subject construction and medical service levels of the domestic hospitals.

Lyon public hospital was founded in 1802, is the second medical teaching hospital of French, Lyons public hospital alliance gathered 14 hospitals, including 3 general hospitals, mainly provide emergency, medical and surgical hospitals, 7 specialized subject hospitals and 4 elderly hospitals. Lyon public hospitals maintains very high level in teaching, pharmaceutical, internal medicine, surgical and clinical medicine .The annual investment budget is 1.7 billion euros.The hospital has more than 5,300 beds and 23,000 staff, including 5,000 doctors. They have Europe's leading medical teams and medical equipment aiming at improve treatment plans provide better service for patients.
